Accessibility Statement
Last updated:
Web accessibility is part of how we understand legal practice: legal information should be within reach of everyone, without technical or comprehension barriers.
1. Our commitment
We work to make this site usable by as many people as possible, including those who use assistive technologies or have visual, hearing, motor, or cognitive limitations. Our goal is substantial conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
2. Measures implemented
The site incorporates the following practices:
- Semantic structure with hierarchical headings (h1 → h2 → h3)
- ARIA labels and `aria-labelledby` on key sections
- Skip-to-main-content link for keyboard users
- Color contrast meeting WCAG AA on primary text
- Support for system "reduced motion" preference
- Decorative images marked `aria-hidden`; interactive icons with `aria-label`
- Forms with associated `label`s and clear validation messages
- Full keyboard navigation, including dropdown menus
- Adequate touch target sizes on mobile devices
3. Known limitations
The Google Maps embed on Contact and Location pages is a third-party component whose accessibility depends on Google. We work to provide equivalent address information in text.
Some decorative images and background elements are purely aesthetic and are not announced to screen readers.
4. Reporting issues
If you encounter an accessibility barrier while browsing this site, please report it to consultas@analuzvillalobos.cr indicating the page, the observed issue, and, if you wish, the browser or assistive technology used. We aim to address reports within a reasonable timeframe.
5. Alternative channels
If at any point information on this site is not accessible to you, you may contact us by phone at +506 8812-6034 or via WhatsApp; we will arrange assistance through the channel best suited to your situation.
